What to Expect
The first step toward achieving your skincare goals is scheduling a consultation. During this appointment, you’ll discuss your concerns with one of our patient coordinators, who will work with our board-certified plastic surgeons to create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your goals.
For optimal results, it’s recommended to avoid direct sunlight for 3 to 4 weeks before and after treatment, as tanned skin can lead to unexpected outcomes. Patients should also stop using exfoliating products one week prior to treatment to prevent skin sensitivity.
UltraClear Laser is an outpatient treatment that does not require anesthesia. During the procedure, a handheld laser device delivers precise, targeted energy to the skin. Depending on the treatment mode, this energy is absorbed by specific pigments and tissues, stimulating collagen and elastin production to promote smoother, firmer, and more evenly toned skin.
After UltraClear Laser treatment, skin responses can vary. Some patients may feel a warming sensation, while others may experience a sunburn-like feeling. These effects usually resolve within 15 minutes to a few hours, and cooling with a fan or cold packs can help. To support results, stay hydrated and apply daily SPF 30+ to protect your skin and avoid direct sunlight for 3 to 4 weeks.
There is minimal to no downtime, allowing patients to resume most normal activities immediately. The number of sessions needed depends on individual concerns, but most patients achieve optimal results with multiple treatments spaced a few weeks apart.
