How Soon After Delivery Can I Have a Mommy Makeover?
We recommend that patients wait at least six months from pregnancy before they schedule their consultation for a mommy makeover. It is also highly recommended that patients do not plan to have any more children and will not be breastfeeding; otherwise, their results can be lost.
Can I Have Children Following a Mommy Makeover?
Yes. You can still safely have children after a mommy makeover. However, getting pregnant again will induce the bodily changes that occur with pregnancy, which will possibly and more than likely negate and reverse the improvements gained from the surgery in the first place. It is recommended that women wait until after their family is complete before they schedule their consultation.
Will I Have Scars?
As with any surgical procedure, scarring is inevitable with a mommy makeover procedure, as incisions are created in the skin.
