What is the UltraClear Laser?

What to Expect
Your first step toward achieving your skincare goals is to schedule a consultation appointment. During this visit, you will discuss your concerns with one of our patient coordinators to determine your candidacy. Together with our board-certified plastic surgeons, they will then create a personalized treatment plan to make your anti-aging goals a reality.
It is recommended that patients avoid direct sunlight exposure for 3-4 weeks before and after treatment. This is because treating tanner skin with a laser can result in unexpected results. You should also stop the use of exfoliation products one week before treatment to avoid skin oversensitivity.
UltraClear laser treatment is an outpatient treatment that does not require anesthesia. During treatment, a handheld laser device delivers targeted laser energy. Depending on the exact treatment mode, this energy is absorbed by specific pigments and tissues in the skin. Collagen and elastin production is promoted for smoother, more evenly toned skin.
Following the UltraClear treatment, skin response may vary from patient to patient. While some patients may experience a warming sensation, others may feel as if their skin is sunburnt. These effects typically resolve within 15 minutes to a few hours. A fan or cool packs can be used to cool the skin after treatment. For best results, stay hydrated and keep your skin protected with SPF 30+ daily.
There is little to no downtime required following UltraClear treatment, so patients can resume their normal activities as soon as they wish.
The number of treatment sessions needed for optimal results will vary depending on the individual and their aesthetic concerns. Generally, patients should undergo multiple treatment sessions spaced weeks apart for the best outcomes.
