Hair growth has four stages: anagen, catagen, telogen, and exogen. Nanofat is derived from your own fat, which contains adipose-derived stem cells. These stem cells are then transferred to the scalp to stimulate new hair growth. At Defyne, we use a combination of a medication known as Dutasteride with nanofat to achieve significant hair regrowth, stimulating the hair growth cycle.

What To Expect
Your first step toward addressing your hair thinning or hair loss concerns is a consultation appointment at Defyne. During this appointment, you can discuss your hair loss concerns as well as ask any questions you may have about the ReGen Restore treatment. Your plastics surgeon will provide you with specific instructions and information to help you best prepare for your treatment.
During treatment, nano fat is collected from other areas of the body, such as the stomach, thighs, or buttocks, through liposuction. The fat is then put through a series of filtration methods to purify it for injection.
Once the nano fat is purified and ready for treatment, the scalp is cleaned, a numbing solution is applied, and the nano fat is injected into the scalp using a fine needle. This procedure is painless, though you may feel some mild tugging or prodding as fat is removed.
Because this treatment is minimally invasive, there is little to no downtime required following the ReGen Restore hair restoration process. Most patients can begin to see results within 6 months. For optimal results, most people will require multiple ReGen Restore treatments. Typically, a series of 2 to 3 treatments spaced several months apart is recommended.
